If anyone ever adds bigger captures or HD captures from this film, I would appreciate additional views, including any interior views (if possible). Closer view here. -- Last edit: 2012-07-04 22:35:39 |

I don't know if you know this or not but two trucks were used in this movie. The first one, which is in your link, was a 1973-1974 model. |

When I saw this movie, I heard that her automatic transmission was making noises. |

The truck switches to a 1973 or 1974 C20 (possibly a Cheyenne since it has a chrome trim strip on the front windshield rubber seal) with 8 lug rims during the Golden Gate Park scenes... |

With thanks of this new picture, I can see this one has 350 CID (5.7 litre) engine fitted in. |

It was on display at a museum, and originally appraised at 30,000 USD. Chosen for the role of Catherine’s vehicle, like a actor chosen for the role role of a character. Vehicle identification number: CCV145S155071 The 5.7 liter 350 cubic inch pushrod V-8 engine and Turbo Hydra-Matic gearbox are said to be good working order. Great considering its static display at the Volo automobile museum. Star Trek fans are a dedicated group, I’m sure it will go to a good home. |

You're absolutely right. Also, compare the grille from the main pic and the Golden Gate Park image. Also, does it look as if the chrome trim strips on the sides were just ripped off? |
