Or Nilsson. http://www.volvoclub.org.uk/pdf/brochures/740HearseBrochure.pdf /vehicle_66042-Volvo-740-Bestattungswagen-1987.html -- Last edit: 2012-01-05 14:30:33 |

This should be based on a 1987 Volvo 740 GLE. It doesn't have alloys, painted rear mirrors and a partly chromed strip on the doors, which points towards a 740 (instead of 760). It, though, has a chromed grill which points towards a GLE (instead of GL or Turbo). It has a small black pvc stripe which goes from the front indicators all the way to the rear, which was only available on 740 GLE from 1987 (and on 760 from 1982). It hasn't got a partly painted bumper, which was the case on 1988. It doesn't have 15" wheels, but 14", and thus this is no 1989. -- Last edit: 2012-01-05 16:10:58 |

Apparently Pollmann distributes Nilsson bodied Volvos on the German market under their own brand. So both would be correct. However, to keep it consistent with the other ones on the site we should mention Nilsson as coachbuilder. |
