Mazda Bravo Cab Plus 4WD if it is a Mazda, or Ford Courier Supercab if it is a Ford. I can't make out the badge on the grille or the wheel centres.

There is also a Ford Courier that looks like the Mazda B-Series, maybe for Australia only ?
As this TV-series is in UK I guess that it cannot be the Ford, but the Mazda. I

In the UK. the Ford version of the Mazda B-Series is the Ranger.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mazda_B-Series_%28International%29#1998
Quote For the 1998 model year, Mazda renewed its own B-Series for international markets. This model was also sold as the Ford Ranger in Europe and Asia, and the Ford Courier in Australia and New Zealand. Production began that year at the AutoAlliance Thailand and Ford Motor Company Philippines factories. CKD versions are also assembled in South Africa and Ecuador.

The truck is sold in more than 130 countries under a variety of names. Along with the Fighter and Ranger badges in Southeast Asia, it was sold as the Mazda Bounty and Ford Courier in Australia, Mazda Bravo in New Zealand, and Mazda Drifter in South Africa.

The Ford Ranger was intoruced into the UK in 1999

"Ford Media Site" wrote The launch of the Ranger in 1999 marked the return of Ford to the European one-tonne pick-up market after a lapse of six years. The last pick-up marketed by Ford in this class was the P100

But I was thinking to Ford because the logo was more like Ford... What allows to identify which one of the two it is?

It seems no one has taken pictures of the 1998 B-series, but the mazda 'wings' logo is located towards the top of the grill in the case of Fords at the time the badge was in the center.

also check this https://www.mycarcheck.com/check/R145TKO/

mycarcheck.com wrote According to our records, R145TKO is a Mazda B2500 4wd.

Yes, checking the plate would have been easier... :D
As you said, it is a 1998 Mazda

Date of Liability 01 10 2006
Date of First Registration 24 04 1998
Year of Manufacture 1998
Cylinder Capacity (cc) 2499CC
CO2 Emissions Not Available
Fuel Type Heavy Oil
Export Marker Not Applicable
Vehicle Status Licence Not Due
Vehicle Colour SILVER

But your site seems better than the DLVA, as it gives the model name :)

Edit : but it does not seem to work for all vehicles :??:
