Belongs to Tom Baxter (Robert Wagner), a high-powered lawyer. |

This is a 1995-1997 Vanden Plas. The length of the rear door indicates it's a long-wheelbase model. The 20-spoke wheels further indicate that it's either a Vanden Plas or XJ12. (The XJ6L came with different wheels.) Finally, the lower door trim is entirely body-colored; an XJ12 would have a smaller chrome strip right above that trim line, so this particular car is therefore a VDP. -- Last edit: 2009-07-06 18:15:27 |

Thanks colinb! Do you know how to tell an XJ12 from an XJ6, including non-US models? If so it would be great if you could look at all the X300 XJ's and tell us which ones are XJ12's. -- Last edit: 2008-09-29 21:51:01 |

Note that I was mistaken in my previous comment; this car actually seems to be a Vanden Plas. Previous comment updated with more information. |

Actually this does have a chrome strip above the door trim (it just doesn't show up here but you might spot it if you watch this scene on DVD), but the Vanden Plas did have this, it was the US name for the Daimler version. |

I'm renaming this and the others to "Vanden Plas" (instead of XJ Vanden Plas) http://www.jag-lovers.org/brochures/bro1995/rangeusa995_16.jpg |
