Weasel you have shots which show the race number to cross reference here ? http://www.formula2.net/F370_E53.htm |

I think this is solved unless Weasel can come with race number to know it for sure the sole Alpine A360 entered with no 77 in this race 3 things which make me believe this - what little of you see of the race number looks like a 7 - the nose section matches - the 2 other design trademarks marked in pink circle |

The film was to see at the Renault.TV website, but it seems they don't have it anymore there, or I can't find it now. |

It definitely is similar. The 340 was too, but as I understand it didn't take a part in this race. |

the 340 was not a F3 car !!! it was a Formula France car, same as the A330 but different engine , the A 360 is same as 330 just slighly longer http://www.oldracingcars.com/formulefrance/1969/ now I cheked Forumula France races at Paul Ricard in 1970 (there were none in 69) and there were was no 33 car for example and some of the other race numbers same with F2 race that's how I concluded that it was from F3 race which results seem to fit -- Last edit: 2013-12-29 18:03:38 |
