 Not as a LHD. I recall there was some Soviet film with trucks disguised as fictional Western brands. Probably a screencap from that movie?

 Found it: there was a British company called Dowsett Engineering Construction Ltd, and the logo is a match.

 Since BelAZ was a completely unknown brand, I half expected them to sell them as Lada trucks like they did with the Aleko here and the Tavria in Chile :lol:

 Can't find any listing in 1970s Glass's for BelAZ, but they do give an address for UAZ concessionaires as UMO Plant Ltd in Letchworth, Hertfordshire, so confirms something did happen.

^ Lada cars in the 70s were distributed here by Satra Motors in Bridlington, N Yorkshire who also did UK Moskviches.

And the Soviet Union under the BELAZ brand sold abroad a heavy caterpillar bulldozer DET-250 of the Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant.

 I have quite a bit on these in old construction mags.
In UK construction some say they were crap some say they were OK if looked after.
Muckshifting / earthmoving is a very tough game !
