dsl ◊ 2012-01-20 15:38	UK TSE June 83 - Sept 84 only, but had tints. UK GTL June 83 onwards had plain glass, side mouldings, rear wiper and spoiler. Can anyone read the grille lettering?

The 1983 Renault 11 Italian range included these versions: TC 3-Door 1.1 Litre GTC 5-Door 1.1 Litre TCE 5-Door 1.1 Litre GTS 5-Door 1.4 Litre Automatic 5-Door 1.4 Litre TSE 5-Door 1.4 Litre TSE Electronic 5-Door 1.4 Litre The 11 GTL marketed in France resembled the Italian TCE and GTS: it had not alloy wheels, foglights, black trim on the bumpers, headlight washers and other details.

Seems to be, as one of the two main actors, Johnny Dorelli, was the face of some Renault ads in Italy at time of filming, including one year later one for the same Renault 11: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_8NasnjKYkI
