Not sure what negates 1948-1949? Reverting. However, this is filmed in Canada this is our first (I’m sure I’ll dig up more) F-47 Panel. I recently discovered threads on Ford truck forums mentioning M-47/F-47 which led me to investigate. Ford of Canada used the the first two digits of the trucks GVW. So 1/2 ton models were F/M-47 as Ford sold Mercury as well there. Technically this could be an M-47 too but those are extremely rare. |

Hello everyone My name is Butch and yes I am Canadian and yes I own a 1948 Ford F4700 panel truck.Yes They were made in Windsor Ont Canadian.The F47 is a half ton that was primarily used in delivering bread and milk at the end of the war.The Main differences were the engine types and sizes & GVW. |
