White Hunter Black Heart is a film about the making of The African Queen (1951) and that truck simply doesn't look like it is that vintage. Misquoting Bill Maher, "I didn't have proof, I just knew it was true." The nameplates are in different places between the blue and white models, but that aside, wikipedia places the dates of production for Nissan Caball from December 1957 until December 1981, and it looks like the white fourth generation model commenced production in 1976. What gave it away for me is the quad headlamps, which first appeared in the late 50's.
