It was hilarious when little Richard Hammond cruised around in this monster. |

He pulls beside this girl on the pavement and lowers the window, her reaction is funny, you'd normally expect to see a tough gangsta rapper driving this. Or Tony Soprano. |

A classic, one of my favorites. And one of the few Top Gear tests I completely agreed with. However, I did find it odd that they thought it was really that big. ![]() You can view it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f5W6rZ05Roo -- Last edit: 2007-02-10 16:46:04 |

no one really cares about your opinion. |

He thinks it is big becuase in Europe we are not used to that big cars, our streets are narrower |

I agree, it would be nice if Explorer4x4 could prevent himself from starting discussions about that all the time ![]() |

Explorer, an XC90 substitutes for an Escalade like a Porsche substitues for a Ferrari (or better yet, a Lamborghini). One is big and shouty, and lets everyone know you're loaded, but the other one is the better car. I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm secure enough with myself I don't need to show off to the entire world (and in doing so, show the entire world that I'm a moron with too much money). |

What are you talking about, they're bloody HUGE! It would completely dwarf your Tempo. It is a big car by anyone's standards, and too big for this country, they shouldn't let them in. Fortunately there's only a handful of Escalades here, mostly owned by overpaid idiot footballers. |

Well, let us put it this way. The Pontiac Bonneville (wagon I think) is a foot longer. A estate car, from a performance brand. Then there are plenty bigger cars out there. I can name plenty, but shall not waste the time to due so. |

Hey give Explorer4x4 some props. He's showing signs of maturity! |

I’m only joking… I happen to like Explorer4x4, although he does get on my nerves sometimes. I know just about every member here "say’s" that they would love to see him go, but if he did, then they wouldn’t have anyone to quarrel about Tempos’ and SUVs’ with. Life here would get kind of boring. You guys would miss him, and like it or not, you ALL know that’s the truth!!! ![]() |

Hmm, that's true. I do find him a bit entertaining. Especially when he said that hot babes are attracted to the Tempo. ![]() |
