This is a 1992-93 model, because I don't think the 1989 model ever came with those wheels. -- Last edit: 2016-09-28 16:07:28 |

Nope. Those mirrors were only optional on XL/XL Plus for 1992-1993. The pint stripe was exclusive to XL Plus by the brochure for 1992-1993. Trims for 1992-1993 are as follows: XL XL Plus XLT Eddie Bauer. Sport was a package added to XL/XL Plus/XLT for 1992-1993. Eddie Bauer never had that option. You can tell a Sport by the enlarged front lip spoiler and running boards. 1994 differed in trim levels slightly. XL XLT Eddie Bauer XL Plus was reverted to XL. Sport still existed for the XL/XLT. 1995-1997 when the Windstar debuted the Aerostar was left with only one trim level: XLT. Believe Sport lasted until 1997 as googling it pulls results. Hope this helps people. 1992 brochure: http://www.auto-brochures.com/makes/Ford/Aerostar/Ford_US%20Aerostar_1992.pdf 1993 brochure: Link to "www.ebay.com" 1994 brochure: http://www.auto-brochures.com/makes/Ford/Aerostar/Ford_US%20Aerostar_1994.pdf 1995 brochure: Link to "www.ebay.com" 1996 brochure: Link to "www.ebay.com" 1997 brochure: Link to "www.ebay.com" Cargo Van do not follow these trims. They had no trim levels. Extended Cargo Van last year was 1994 as the Windstar took over that segment. The baby Cargo Van lasted until 1997 as we have a few examples in our database. Edit: fixed typos. Also, Forged Wheels, as seen above, were optional on all trims. -- Last edit: 2020-02-05 16:45:30 |
