MZ. ETZ 250 or so.

For IMSteetMapDb: on the dashboard a Falk-Plan from Berlin ( http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falk_%28Verlag%29 ) For Berlin, because of its thickness. And because it's filmed in Berlin.

@ingo: Do you collect maps?

P.S. Filmed in West-Berlin. Garden wall and wooden fence are in the western style of the lates 70ies.

No, I just kept those maps, I've used in the pre-TomTom-times.
So too a long time ago for our youngsters here. Surely we have some kiddies here, who aren't able to handle a road map. As they are unable to use a dialplate-phone, too. Or developing photos by theirselves. Not to talk about using a Telex-machine :p

P.S. Altough I'm travelling nowdays with a TomTom, I always have a roadmap of that area with me, too. Not everything, the TomTom says, is senseful or just correct.

I bet when your TomTom says 'Neuberechnung' it annoys you :lol:

Naah, not that bad for me, as I'm not very focussed on it. My wife becomes more upset. As recently, when the voice said "passing the roundabout, and then take the third exit" - but we were driving on the motorway (just south of DynaMike-town). But I could explain her, that this part of the motorway is brand new, but our TomTom hasn't the last updates.

As you know, TomTom is not always up to date either ;)

I do collect road maps, but the Falk-Plan maps are rather ugly...
Usually we use Michelin maps and guised from the year of the car we are driving in. Especially in France it is still possible to drive on 1957 maps without any problems (except in urbanised areas, and if you don't want to drive on motorways) :)

@DynaMike: Does the ugly Falk-Plan maps is really unreadable for the layout and the map formatting :think:

I had the opposite problem in Spain: my brand-new Tomtom (that I even updated before the travel) wanted me to take an exit in a roundabout that was not yet finished, at the side of the road where we were...
Also, it made us take a road not yet finished, we made nearly 20 km on a dirt+gravel road :D

@rjluna2: Unreadable is a bit too strong, but the colours and the drawings are just not nice. And the folding system is not very practical.
