It's the first GL-Class on the IMCDB. |

Very briefly used by minor characters, I am not sure if it deserves three stars. |

Does anything happen to it? (Gets chased by another vehicle/crashed/rolled-over/blew-up) Anything of that nature? |

No, there is just a family in it that is stuck on the bridge (passengers of the car are seen before and while cars are stuck on the bridge, but they have no real role in the movie) -- Last edit: 2006-11-29 00:07:55 |

It was indeed launched as 2007 model-year. I suppose that this was a pre-production promotional model, as the movie was finished before mid 2006. |

I think I prefer it to the ML, though I wouldn't have either car. |

Why a 2007 model in a movie filmed August 2 - December 23, 2005? This isn't a Mustang. I don't know where antp got that information that it was introduced for the 2007 MY as this model was already on sale in the US at the time of filming: www.imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=332798 www.imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=552536 |

Those are both ML-Class, a totally different model of car from the GL-Class. Wiki and Consumer Guides both state from 2007MY for the GL with the car not even being unveiled at a motorshow until January 2006. -- Last edit: 2019-07-24 11:15:49 |

Then the year should be 2006 in accordance with pre-productions on the site, which are always listed one year ahead of the production version. |

I don't remember that being the rule at all. Thinking logically, 2006 is the year that's guaranteed to be wrong as it's an example of a car introduced in 2007,that was built in 2005. Other examples might be one year earlier because that was when they were built. |

We had a similar problem with the Lincoln MKS on The Dark Knight. |
