Just spent 15 minutes looking for this truck and then found the show was filmed in Los Angeles. I guess the New York City skyline in the background is CGI. |

It appears to be this same Cinema Vehicles truck: Link to "www.cinemavehicles.com" What do you think? Is the information correct? |

Looks like it. 1990 Spartan/LTI. |

And the Jersey City Fire Department inscription is painted on. It's sad that this was filmed in California, because it means we can't find out from the real Jersey City Fire Department. -- Last edit: 2012-02-05 00:52:59 |

LTI is the model? Even if it was filmed in Jersey, they would have probably still used a prop truck and not a real one. |

No, LTI built the aerial device (this is typical of most fire apparatus - where the body manufacturer is also listed). The model for this era of a Spartan is either the Gladiator or Metro Star. |

Correcting myself. Found an ad for a 1989 Spartan Monarch whose cab looks an awful lot like that from Ford Guy.. thus would make this a Monarch. http://www.fentonfire.com/used_engines_and_pumpers/listing.php?lid=6486 |
