Call me crazy, but that kind of looks late-1920's Ford-ish. FYI, this scene was filmed in Brookhaven, New York, which is east of Bellport. |

Had a propa ganda at an HD version, and I'm really starting to think this is indeed a late 1920s Chevrolet truck. This unique rounded radiator, a slight facelift of the 29-31 passenger car style, appears to have been produced for 1931-32. Hinges on the door are in the right place, C-shaped panel on the splash apron fits, screw for the vent window (?) matches as well.
