Ford A Roadster? |

No, but it is an American convertible coupe, not a roadster, from about 1932 or 1933 or maybe 1934 at the latest. Not a big car though - something mid-size like a Plymouth or Pontiac. So far I have not found a convertible coupe with suicide doors and three hinges. I first thought it was a Chrysler product but I have not found a match in the Chrysler range. Most GM cars of that time did not have suicide doors. Most of the independent makers offered convertible coupes but it hard to find pictures of them, as their survival rate is very low. -- Last edit: 2012-02-12 23:06:32 |

Found it - 1932 Plymouth convertible coupe. A relatively rare car - less than 5,000 built. The roadster was rare with less than 3,000 built. |
