Either that's a distorted photo or an elephant stepped on the Pontiac's trunk. |

It could very well be distorted. Unlike the rest of the series, this commercial appeared to be "kinescoped," meaning (before the days of videotape) it was recorded with a film camera pointed toward an old-school TV monitor...which, of course, was curved. That's probably why the car looks like it does, slightly "bent." |
