This is not exactly a Made for movie vehicle. It was an actual British racer, the Sparton - for Barton engine and engineering in a Spondon frame - which was raced at the end of the 70's. The machine was raced for movie purpose in the British GP at Silverstone in 1979, rode by Roger Marshall. It was rearguard action, but long enough to shoot the sufficient footage. (You'll find a small number of links and sites which talk about this, on the net.) I guess it makes a new make. |
