The grille is custom/aftermarket. The headlight cluster would be the giveaway. |

Outfitted with the Sierra Classic equipment package. Top-of-the-line, featuring full interior grained and textured trim, soft touch materials, bright metal décor, bright brushed aluminium inserts (on doors and dash), plush carpeting (on doors and floor), and additional acoustic deadening materials. Sierra Classic and Silverado also featured a host of exterior cosmetic enhancements. Sierra Classic and Silverado (OEM code: YE9) trim packages added approximately 2,500 USD to the base price (in today’s money). Not including other optional extras, like the Comfortilt steering wheel, power windows, and power door locks, which this Jimmy also has. Note the 4x4 system on this Jimmy will be conventional four-wheel drive. Permanent four-wheel drive had been discontinued due to the 1979 energy crisis. |
