One of ingo's favourite 300SEL 6.3 on the right. But he'll probably say the alloys were optional across the range so it could be a 250S. So then I'll say you can see the 6.3 boot badge in /vehicle_483127.html . -- Last edit: 2012-03-06 01:56:41 |

Sorry, my goggles are over 7 years old and my eyes 41 - no chance to spot anything Benz-ish on this tiny pic. |

Hmm, are you sure, that the headlights are different or it's just due the angle of the pic? Or something is in front/nearby them? It seems, that they are the usual (for the 6.3) double round lights. The foglights are yellow, but this was different for the export markets. In Germany were any kind of yellow frontlights forbidden, resp. usually you had problems, when you wanted to have one on your car. Sometimes/somewhere impossible, sometimes/somewhere no problem, sometimes/somewhere possible with an extra assessment and an extra permission, sometimes/somewhere possible with connections and accomodations for the responsible persons - all a result of the federal organisation in Germany. |
