johnfromstaffs ◊ 2012-03-20 23:19	The basically pre-war saloons were discontinued in 1948 and replaced by the Mk V which was a current model until 1951, when the Mk VII took over. There was no Jaguar Mk VI, as that was used for a Bentley, and there was no Bentley Mk VII, which was marketed as the R-type, because that name was used for the Jaguar.

There was no Jaguar Mk VI, as that was used for a Bentley, and there was no Bentley Mk VII, which was marketed as the R-type, because that name was used for the Jaguar.
