While it is impossible to tell exactly what model this GM Coach is because its frontal view was the same on four types including the PD 4903, PD 4905, P8M-4905A and the H8H-649 I can tell you that it was built sometime between 1968 and 1980 and was the next generation 'Scenicruiser'. |

Looking at the side view, it seems that there are only 2 full size baggage bins, making it a 41xx model. The front of the bus features black headlight surrounds and the GM logo, indicating that it is probably a first gen model... the second gen had bare aluminum surround on the headlight, and used a GMC logo, rather than just GM. First generation buses did not use the expanded 3-character prefix, just a 2-character; so the prefix would have to be PD. All together, that means that this bus is a GM PD-4107. As for whether or not it had air conditioning (making it a PD-4107A) I can't say, but the rest, I'm almost positive of. |
