That looks a Pontiac grille, and I want to say Bonneville |

But could be a Pontiac Safari too !? |

cko is right It's a 1971-76 Pontiac Bonneville based on the grille as the grille for the 1977-81 model is completely different. It's not a safari as I think that was applied for the wagon model and correct me if I'm wrong but there was no wagon for the 1971-76 models. -- Last edit: 2012-04-13 14:12:46 |

Whatever it is, it looks like 1977-79 Pontiac full size to me |

Agree iwth Rjluna's range. Can't possibly date back to '71 with rectangular headlamps. |

Update: You're right. It's a 1976 or a 1977-81 model. However I think it's a 1976 model because if you look carefully there's no middle light where there is one on a 1977-81 model. -- Last edit: 2012-04-13 15:47:23 |

Update 2:It's also possible it's a 1977-81 Pontiac Catalina. |

The '76 had a very different body. Definitely 1977 +. |

Okay. Then probably 77-81. |

1977-79, look at the movie date |

Also, the '80 and '81 had a rather different grille shell. |

I'm going to say 1977 Bonneville. I see four vertical sections in the grille; 1978 had five sections, and 1979 headlight surrounds extended all the way to the grille. The horizontal grille elements can't be seen too well; I'm going to blame the lighting. |
