 I think it's a 'Breitkühler', wide grille and no overriders. If so, it's a 1960+ model.

 Nice, that (if original) Mercedes Benz Dortmund had such a service-car in use still in 1978 :)
Unfortunately their old buildings were demolished in the last years. :( The showroom (directly besides the B1, nearby the stadium) was really authentic 1950ies architecture
