Indeed, doesn't look like another one in worse shape that was used for the dumping scene. -- Last edit: 2012-05-12 19:45:44 |

Main has rectangular wing indicators, but thumbs 3-7 have round, so an older one was trashed. Also thumb 7 looks painted hub cap instead of chrome - odd because all others for both cars look unpainted. |

^Thumb 7 is the only one where you can see the left side of the dumped car; probably just a mismatched wheel. |

Well, if the black painted sills aren't original, it's for very sure a dazzler, an overpainted rusty clunker. Never ever trust cars with a black oversmeared bottom! ![]() Huh, the trim on the sill is missing, too ( /vehicles.php?make=Simca&model=1200&page=2 ). Im combination with the black tar it's a concrete evidence, that someone has cobbled aftersales market repair-sills in it. @carobserver: no need for crying ![]() -- Last edit: 2012-05-12 21:54:51 |

Even the main - good? - one has a dented grille, so the trashed one must have been a real minger. The rear axle looks very floppy in 4th thumb. In terms of dating the main one, in addition to CarChasesFanatic's 1st comment about Talbot steering wheel, it looks very late according to French final sequence of black grille and Special perforated wheels/hubcaps on run-out ordinary versions. |
