Why build something like this and then fit such small wheels/tyres? Could they give any advantage, and if so how/when? |

this is a 1994 chevrolet Silverado extended cab flairside, I actually personally know this vehicle it belonged to a friend of mine. this movie was filmed in eagle pass, TX. It was low budget and they used many locals as extras.Gag is correct the reason for the small tires was for the lowrider aspect. |

There is no real advantage to a vehicle modified into a lowrider except better handling characteristics. However, given how the suspensions are modified to achieve the low look, better handling is not always present. In fact, ride quality and handling can actually be reduced if the suspension modifications are not done properly. It’s mainly the low look or low profile that the owner likes. |
