Issued early 61. Nice Riley 4/72 in 2nd thumb. Grille badge in 4th thumb is CSMA = Civil Service Motoring Association - http://www.csmaclub.co.uk/ . They used to be very good for cheaper car insurance etc (and maybe still are). |

In the User Reviews section on the IMDB page for this, someone called lubilu45 says this car belonged to their family, someone from the BBC had spotted it and asked if they could borrow it for the program. |

yes it was our family's car.we owned it the 70's. the BBC spotted it in Wareham, Dorset while my mum was out shopping, they waited by the car for the owner, asked if they could use it. the rest is history. It got sold on eventually, but we never knew what happened after that of course. would be interesting to know, hope its still going. was a lovely car. weve got the cd of Nuts in May, hilarious! weve still got a photo my parents took of Alison Steadman and Roger Sloman with the car during the filming. -- Last edit: 2016-09-13 02:51:14 |

Seems to have died - no trace on plate check sites. Possible it's been re-registered with different number, but don't hold out great hopes - even if it has there's no way to pursue or discover whatever new identity may exist. |

Re: the number plates used were by the BBC for filming, not the original plates.Thats why its not possible to find it. |

The BBC changed the original plate number of the Morris Minor for the play. |
