If I remember right from the other night, I think this was either Elena Ramos' or John Ross' Land Rover. I can't remember who was driving??

Re-watching the episodes right now. I think this Land Rover is John Ross'.

Wouldn't this be Elana's car since John Ross has the Suburban?

I don't think John Ross necessarily owns the Suburban. He and J.R. showed up to that Oil Barons Ball/fund raiser thing in it...but I think the "Burb" is just a Ewing vehicle or it was rented for that night so J.R. could show up with his "fake" walker  .

I could be wrong, and maybe Elena just lets John Ross drive her SUV all the time, but I only saw "John-Boy" drive the Land Rover...never Elena. So, I'm assuming the Land Rover is his. But, like I said I could be wrong and maybe it is hers??

Maybe John Ross is selfish and always wants to drive?

Sorry, but it’s not a 2010-2012 model. Rather the older 2006-2009 model, outfitted in HSE trim.

If a 2006 model specifically, it has the permanent four-wheel drive system from New Venture Gear (NVG).

If a 2007-2009 model, the Range Rover’s permanent four-wheel drive system is from the newly formed Magna Powertrain division of Magna International. In short, Magna Powertrain was partly created from Magna International’s purchase of New Venture Gear, and still use four-wheel drive technology developed at New Venture Gear.

All vehicles that previously used New Venture Gear (NVG) four-wheel drive systems now use Magna Powertrain (MP) four-wheel drive systems. This includes vehicles made by Chrysler Group LLC, General Motors Company, and Jaguar Land Rover PLC.

I actually now think that this Land Rover IS probably Elena's, as John Ross was shown driving a new Vette in the other night's episode. Hmmm...Land Rover or Corvette? I'd take the Vette too. ;)

Yes they have! :D

Your link is a pic of the third season episode "Rodeo" from the original series...where they are getting ready to set up for a rodeo at Southfork. Beautiful trees...especially now!

I think this was just John Ross's car for this episode. It was never seen again in this season. Since then he's only driven a Corvette GranSport. It doesnt even have "Ewing" plates!

Actually I think it was shown very quickly in another episode this first season...and Elena was driving. So, I think this might have been Elena's Rover and in this episode John Ross happened to be driving. I haven't noticed that many Ewing cars with the old standard "Ewing" plates either...think that's more of a thing from the original show. However, maybe they'll start bringing that back eventually.
