Error! Please change name to: 1943 FAMO Panzerhaubitze Wespe "leFH 18/2 auf Fahrgestell PzKpfw II (Sf.)" should be put as extra info. Also, "built in Poland" should be added, since final assembly was done in occupied Warsaw by FAMO. Although it was completed by FAMO, the different components came from different companies: Chassis: MAN Bodywork: Alkett Weapon: Rheinmetall-Borsig |

"Occupied" is important word here - Poland not existed back then as state and its flag was not used. "Made in PL" would be incorrect and confusing. -- Last edit: 2015-05-28 19:41:51 |

But it wasn't a part of Germany either, it was the "Generalgouvernement" under brutal Nazi rule. |

It can't be considered as any form of Polish state. Goverment of Generalgouvernement/GG was formed by German nazists - by invaders. They were in power. The flag was their swastika. I can't agree to mix a Polish flag with something like that. ![]() -- Last edit: 2015-05-28 20:34:09 |
