The grille indicates that this is actually a 1977-1979 model, and the trim appears to be Sierra based on what is seen of the badge. Equipped with a "Wideside" bed. |

It looks suspiciously four-wheel-drive’ish. The earlier trucks equipped with Turbo Hydramatic transmissions won’t have locking front axle hubs, as they are permanently engaged with full-time four-wheel-drive with two-speed transfer case and center differential lock. Wish there was a better view of the front to see if it has a live front axle. |

C-25 No reason to call this a 4wd. The side shot should show a leaf spring on top of the axle, which it does not. The ride height looks high "four=wheel-driveish" because it is sliding sideways. Neptunes' comment about the "Full time 4wd" is correct but not with this truck. |
