It's me and I do so because I'm pretty sure that every European Ford after the Cortina MKIII (with the possible exception of the Orion which I understand was a development lead by a British team), post the merger of Ford of Britain and Ford Germany, was developed by Ford of Europe who were headquartered in Germany. What are the differences between a German Escort MKII and a British one beyond what factory they were built in or even the country they were sold in?
