He confirmed, that the Dolomite ws never officially sold here (his car is from Switzerland). The BL-strategy was, to sell in Germany only Triumph-sportscars, to avoid to muck up Rover's and Jaguar's turf. And they were afraid, that the German garagists couldn't handle the 16V-engine.
