This has the convex six-bolt disc wheels used by several makers in the early to mid 20s, among them Maxwell, Rickenbacker, Columbia, Chevrolet, Reo and Studebaker. This car appears to have steps on the sideboards that curl upwards toward the splash apron. It seems Chevrolets did not have exterior door handles, so for now my suggestion would be a ca. 1925 Durant A-22. Still unsure... |

I've looked at the film again and now I am very sure it is a Durant. The cowl lights are on the firewall ahead of the windscreen, in the exact position where the Durant has them. It looks right for a 1922-23 B-22 due to the larger hood with more louvers, but - you guessed it - I'll wait for Raul... |
