Whatever this is should be on this list somewhere. |

Slight resemblance for general style/shape to the Biota - a 1960s UK kit car based on Mini, but lots of detail differences. http://www.classic-kitcars.com/classic-kitcar-details.php?24 |

Contacted the people who maintain that list. Maybe they'll come here and identify it for us. |

There could be some Mini bits on it - wheels look about rigght for 10", headlights and particularly the orange indicators look BMC. |

Heard back from them. It's a Bricklin-modified Subaru 360! That leaves us with the question: what to list it as? 1980 Bricklin Fastrack II based on Subaru 360? 1968 Subaru 360 Bricklin & Meyers Fastrack II? You know what's funny? From the start, I had a feeling that Bricklin had something to do with this. -- Last edit: 2014-09-06 16:03:27 |

As it is not recognisable as a Subaru, I'd say the former. I'd also have thought of Custom Made but as more than one was made it isn't really that. So listing as 1980 Bricklin Fastrack II based on Subaru 360. |

I gather the chassis is from '68, the body from '71, and the whole thing made street legal in '80. |
