I think this is the same vehicle: |

The car in the main pic and the first three thumds is a 1937 Cadillac - could be either a series 75 (V8) or a series 85 (V12)- the badge on the trunk lid will tell but it is a little blurred. The rear window with the two dividers is a distinctive Cadillac feature. The car in the last thumb is a 1936 Packard 120. -- Last edit: 2012-07-17 05:35:12 |

Thanks nzcarnerd; I thought the second vehicle looked a bit off. |

Louvers don't look right for a 75 or 85. I think this might be a Series 65 Fisher Four Door Touring Sedan [37-6519]. |

Yes I think you are probably right - it looks more like the Fisher body than the bigger Fleetwood. |

Fisher also produced a very few 75 series cars in 1937. I have seen two of these, one very original, unrestored and in very good condition in Ohio and one under restoration outside San Francisco. They had the Fisher 65 series hood louvres and the original had a very much simpler and more pleasing interior than the "lumpy" Fleetwoods. |
