Is it not another Bedford like this one? /vehicle_527006-Bedford-A-Type-1952.html |

Probably, but slightly smaller, I think. Unless it's an early 50s Opel Blitz ... -- Last edit: 2012-08-26 21:33:21 |

That`s a Blitz, alright. Link to "www.nrkk.no" |

Sorry, truckface, I'm not convinced. Early 50s Bedford A-Types and Opel Blitzes were very similar; the main external differences were a slightly different windscreen mounting and a different grille, neither of which are clear in this picture. Incidentally I didn't notice it before, but the Bedford in kegare's link is a later model (one-piece screen). |

Hasn't the truck on the pic the flatter, longer front wing as the Opel? That of the linked Bedford seems rounder and shorter. |

If it's an Opel it's for this sole reason, the gas cap location: Unless Bedford had it there too, I checked but did not find any. |

Yes and the bumper seems to match better than the ones from Bedford A. It even looks red... (i, know. That doesn`t really prove anything.) -- Last edit: 2012-08-26 22:44:08 |

On a Bedford the front fender is longer and "intrudes" the cabin door. I'd go for an Opel Bliz, here... |

And the picture was updated in the meantime. In the previous picture the fender was hidden. -- Last edit: 2012-08-26 22:49:40 |

to my reckoning, the picture has been like this all along. -- Last edit: 2012-08-26 23:25:43 |

My mistake, sorry. I saved the picture before analyzing it so I could zoom in and somehow it ended up cropped like that. -- Last edit: 2012-08-27 08:22:16 |
