I'm confused by this and its plate beginning VN... "If you have difficulty in telling the DBR1 and DBR2 apart, here is an easy tip; the exhaust of the DBR1 is along the right side of the body (driver side), on the DBR2 it is on the left (passenger side)" from here, which suggests this could be DBR2. However another source focused on DBR1/1 says "Interestingly, all the cars have right-exit exhausts except the first, DBR1/1, which is on the left". Both DBR2s had different plates - DBR2/1 was 2 VPE and DBR2/2 was 7 BXH. DBR1 plates I've been able to confirm are 296 RW (and 299 EXV) [DBR1/1], XSK 497 [DBR1/2], NSK 693 [DBR1/4], and 900 BH [DBR1/5], which leaves [DBR1/3] which has been in the Simeone Foundation in Philadelphia since 1995 and apparently does not have any plate. So either this VN.. plate was a short-lived feature of whichever DBR1 (maybe DBR1/1??) or DBR2, or this is a replica DBR1 or DBR2. |
