The first one, just before the convertible, is a 1956 Ford, a Custom Ranch Wagon. |

Ford " Parklane" station wagon of 1956.There are already two or three on this site.It is the two-door two-colour version with the side trim of the Fairlane .The Ranch Wagon had no side trim and was unicolour .The Custom Ranch Wagon had the side trim of the Customline and was also unicolour |

Sorry, but I don't agree. The chrome trim is definitively of a Customline, with the upper part of the front wing in one color, and the lower part in the other color. And, near the rear lights, the color limit is above the rear light. That's pointed to Custom Ranch Wagon, which had the trim of the Customline. If it was a Parklane, the front wing should almost be of one color, the lower body color, as it was on Fairlanes. And, at the rear, the color limit would be in the middle of the rear light. Beside, the chromed trim on the side is much too thin for a Parklane. -- Last edit: 2006-09-12 19:17:28 |

By the way, I think the other station-wagon is a 1958 Chevrolet. |

By the way, according to a 1956 Ford brochure, the Custom Ranch Wagon was also available in this kind of two-color combination. |
