LHD, looks US spec lights 67-68-ish; no trace of xxx XUF plate series in period, so probably an age-related retrospective issue on a recently imported from US car. |

If this the USA import, but without the sidemarker. I would assume this is the 1967 version or elsewhere where the sidemarker is not required |

If 67-68 I'd guess 300SE for chrome and 4 lights. DVLA details are gibberish for 676 XUF (as just Mercedes without Benz): Date of Liability 01 04 2012 Date of First Registration 06 12 2007 Year of Manufacture 1962 Cylinder Capacity (cc) 220cc CO2 Emissions 0g/Km Fuel Type PETROL Export Marker Y Vehicle Status Unlicensed Vehicle Colour BLUE Vehicle Type Approval Not Available. |

It lacks all the side chrome trim of the 300 SE and with this spec (reinforced by the location of the external mirror) the DVLA details make sense: 1962 220 SE Coupé [W111]. -- Last edit: 2012-09-07 15:51:00 |
