At the linked site there is written "Camioneta" too (at one of the period pics). Different scans: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ifhp97/6864258976/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jRioeSc33AA It seems "VAM American" was the facelifted one. Those with older nose were "VAM Rambler American". Now the question is, is it correct to list those older cars with VAM as make. Maybe Rambler shoud be enough (I repeat - only in case of the older cars)... |

Good question about Rambler vs VAM Rambler. I'm not sure how to list them. haha, two years ago I made the opposite comment: /vehicle_137657-VAM-American-Wagon-1975.html#Comment700714 Based on all the ads in the Youtube video you linked, "Camioneta" seems more correct than "Wagon". |

Now I can't find this pic, but also second series cars were called "Camioneta". At first I thoguht it was some version without rear seats, but no - normal wagon. So I will change the other ones. |
