Or a ZiL. A better location choice for scenes set in USSR would've been in Canada because aside from being a frozen hell for 5 months of the year, Soviet Ladas weren't a uncommon site on Canadian roads in the mid-'80s. |

The Soviet state did order a large fleet of Mercedes W108's to be used a police cars in 1970's. So I won't be surprised that KGB commandeered a few cars for use in State Security. |
