If I remember correctly, they couldn't get it to fly because it was too heavy. The "nose" just tipped up while it went down the runway with the back tires still touching the ground. |

I do believe that this was actually a Mazda Miata and not a Panoz |

I was running a dealerhip that sold Panoz cars at the time, and it was really a Panoz Esperante. Danny Panoz was even involved with the show. |
