Err, today my wife was a bit offended about my archaic interest in technologies. She pointed at the indicator-switch and asked "This knob there, is it for the cruise control? It looks like that." It had permanent four-wheel drive (as noted by the wheel hubs) featuring a two-speed New Process 203 transfer case with planetary center differential, differential lock, and reduction gearing. An Eaton Automatic Differential Lock (ADL) was optional on the rear differential, for increased tractive performance. |
