Something about the colors makes me want to say Link-Belt, but I'm not sure. There's also a JLG lift next to it. |

This is the "Last Column" from the former site of the World Trade Center, removed in May, 2002. I'm still looking for a good view of the crane that did the removing; this is the best I've found so far: Link to "blog.preservationnation.org" -- Last edit: 2012-10-01 02:18:00 |

This photo - Link to "0.tqn.com" - has a faintly visible Liebherr logo (look on the orange above the gray counterweights, squint your eyes, and tilt your head) and displays the owner as being Cranes Inc. of New York: http://www.cranesinc.com/ Cranes Inc.'s large truck cranes are all Liebherrs: http://www.cranesinc.com/load-charts Of the cranes listed, only the LTM 1500-8.1 has 8 axles, although there's nothing to indicate whether they've had that crane since 2002. -- Last edit: 2012-10-01 02:29:46 |
