@Lateef: thanks for this whole ignition sequence of a wood gas powered truck. The French word Chauffeur takes on full significance here ![]() ________ 1939-47 Dodge Job-Rated truck, meaning a 1939 T-Series, a 1940 V-Series or a 1941-47 W-Series. But a dump truck, not a pickup: Sold as Chassis + cab. But shouldn't we just give it the "Trucks, Simple truck" class? This picture shows clearly a D letter: 1939 was the only model year with the Dodge name at this location. 1940 Dodge lettering will be only in the middle of the grille. 1941+ will be in the middle of the grille and on the hood side. Moreover, the beginning of the 1939 only plunging chrome grille can be seen (the 1940+ chrome bar would be horizontal). This is a T-Series indeed. But is it a 116"/2.95 m wheelbase (½-ton TD truck) a or a 120"/3.05 m one? A ¾-ton TD-15 model would have a 120" wheelbase, but a "short" 1-ton TD-20 too... ⇒ 1939 Dodge T-Series? -- Last edit: 2015-02-28 06:27:08 |
