w111 220 s/se one of the more obvious distinguishing features between a 220 and 220S/SE are the chrome strip on the rear fin on the fin and more coomplex taillights for the S/SE this car does not seem to have the chrome strip so I think is a 220 http://www.heckflosse.nl/220sse.htm -- Last edit: 2012-10-04 22:27:12 |

The 2nd thumbnail seems to show it has the two chrome strips between the front grill and the headlights and the chrome rims on the wheels are present. About the referred side chrome strip, it's not easy to be sure it's not there... So I would say it's most likely a 1960+ 220 S/SE or even a 1966+ 230 S. -- Last edit: 2012-10-05 04:25:44 |

I would like to agree something from the good eyes department. On the 2nd thumbnail, it seems that the horn ring is shown. And it is flat on the upper half. This horn ring was a complete round one only until 1962, been replaced by the flatter one (to make instruments better seen) in 1963. My opinion is 220 S 1963+. |
