 Yes.
The tow-truck-conversion is not made by VW, the back of the cabin neither. This is not extraordinary, as, for the MAN-VW and the LT, too, there were different naked chassis available. You could choose, how complete the cabin should be (complete, a half cabin until the front seats, the front only incl.windscreen or the front just with the grille and headlights)
