The chrome bodyside moldings seen here on the Audi A4 Avant page are a factory option, but, were only available on Fleetside pickups, not Stepside pickups. The ones on this pickup have for sure been added after-sale. They could have been added at some point after it became a citizen of German roadways. Possibly the owner saw a C/K Fleetside with the moldings, and wanted to add them to his C Stepside.
