Although the shape of the headlights is confusing me, the distance between them and the indicators makes me think of a 2nd series, something that seems to be confirmed by the rear end (it looks a taller one). The 2nd series was produced between appromximately March 1952 and February 1953; the 3rd series between March and December 1953. This film was released in September 1953, so it seems more likely it was filmed before production of the 3rd series started.

The link is a Lancia Aurelia B20GT, the thumbnail looks the same, it must have been very new at the time.
The main picture also looks right, are you confusing the auxiliary lights with the main ones?
