This should be the entry level version for UK, corresponding to the continental SX-EL trims, renamed Active for 2002-03. In this case, made for GB by (nameless) trim |

Weren't also more basic ones with black bumpers (our basic nameless trim, S in most export markets)? I think we have a few ![]() |

Yes - confirmed we got the trim with no name, Oct 99+, 1.2, 3/5 door. And then the 1.2 Go 3 door arrived alongside in August 01. Not sure what extra bits it had. |

Was the nameless one the one with black bumpers? I couldn't find the corresponding UK model for the SX/EL ![]() |

Yes - body colour bumpers was ELX, HLX and above. No SX or EL listed. |

Then this is an ELX |

Interesting that GB didn't get the mid range until Go/Active versions. I'll take a look if there are some wrongly listed ![]() |

Actually, the mid range is meant to be the ELX, with the HLX as top range and the S/nameless trim as standard. I believe the SX/EL were meant to fill the gap between the ultra-essential S (in particular for the black bumpers, but I believe in most markets it couldn't even get a power steering or an air conditioner ![]() -- Last edit: 2022-05-24 12:56:03 |

Yes, well, I considered SX and ELX the mid range models ![]() |

One of my neighbors drives a facelifted Actual (ca. 2005) with almost the same configuration: black bumpers, no air conditioning, but indeed with ABS and 4x airbags |

Yes, facelifted models had standard double airbag and power steering on all range, and also ABS since 2004 ![]() |
